MEET THE DOCTORS

Dr. Joel Ihnen has practiced veterinary medicine in Princeton, Zimmerman and the surrounding area since 1993.  His interests lie in surgery (especially orthopedics), canine reproduction, ophthalmology, sport-dog medicine and ferret medicine.  In addition to small animal medicine, Dr. Joel enjoys the variety and challenges provided by mobile equine practice.  He is a graduate of Iowa State University and outside of work enjoys dog training, hunting and cooking.

Dr. Jean Ihnen, a 2005 graduate of the University of Minnesota, enjoys small animal dentistry, feline medicine and is a strong advocate for the use of pain management in veterinary medicine.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her horses and dogs. 

Dr. Jessi Ostenson (formerly Dr. Jessi Dinham) graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2005.  She enjoys feline internal medicine, equine reproductive work and both small animal and equine preventive medicine.  When not working she likes to go riding, 4-wheeling, camping and to hang out with her cat, Puck.
