Dr. Joel Ihnen grew up in Northwood, IA.  He attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and Iowa State University in Ames.  He has practiced veterinary medicine in Princeton and Zimmerman since 1993.  His small animal interests lie in surgery (especially orthopedics), canine reproduction, ophthalmology, sport-dog medicine and ferret medicine.  In addition to small animal medicine, Dr. Joel enjoys the variety and challenges provided by mobile equine practice.  He lives near Princeton with his wife, Dr. Jean and their daughter, Julia.  Outside of work he enjoys dog training, hunting and cooking. 

Dr. Jessi Ostenson graduated from the University of Minnesota and has practiced equine and small animal medicine in Zimmerman and Princeton since 2005.  She enjoys feline internal medicine, equine reproductive work, and both small animal and equine preventative medicine.  She is an active member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), the MVMA (MN Veterinary Medical Association), the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practioners), and the AAEP (American Association of Equine Practitioners).  When not working she likes horseback riding, 4-wheeling, camping, and hanging out with her cats, Puck and Tilla.
